Hi Darryl! It was really interesting reading your post. I like that your topic was photography, I always like to learn about it! I think the overall layout of your plan for interaction is really good. I have always liked the use of blog or forum posts for interaction and assessment. It’s a quick and easy way of checking in with your students about how they are understanding the material, and what they are getting from it.
I like your idea of having an office hour for your students so they can come and receive feedback. Often, written feedback could get confusing or misinterpreted, so this is a great idea! I wonder if there would be some other way that the students could participate, rather than just blog posts? Maybe you could actually get your hands on one of the devices mentioned in the video, and students could come and try it out? Not really part of assessment, just something cool for the students to respond to!
